On September 23, Beyond a Ballot presents The Right Hand, a special live podcast taping exploring the people who work behind the scenes to shape political power and influence the world’s most powerful leaders. Inspired by Phoebe Saintilan-Stocks’ book The Right Hand, the evening will bring together some of the most accomplished political operators in North America and Canada, including Sheila Nix, former Chief of Staff to Vice President Kamala Harris and Dr. Jill Biden; Melissa Winter, former Chief of Staff to First Lady Michelle Obama; and author Phoebe Saintilan-Stocks.
The conversation will also feature introductory remarks from Katie Telford, former Chief of Staff to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, offering a uniquely candid look at leadership, power and the Canada-U.S. relationship.
